Country holiday cottage near Okehampton, on the northern edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon
Meadow Sweet is one of 3 holiday cottages, I Sheila let and run Meadow Sweet cottage the other two being Daisy and Clover are let by my sister Ruth.
My family have farmed West Hook Farm just up the road since 1929 when it was a dairy farm with our milk being taken daily by “Horse & Jingle” a 1 mile journey into Okehampton to be sold.
Things have moved on a little since then but West Hook Farm is still farmed by the family.
I also run Forget me not farm holidays at our other farm in Cornwall. where my family farm sheep and cattle, and our son-in-law Matt Smith is a World champion sheep shearer. and teaches sheep shearing for the British Wool Board.
I also run Wicked Wooley Ways, selling woollen items made from my own rear breed Balwen sheep. and also from our Romney Sheep.
